This poster is called Mary and features a made-up event to celebrate the work of Disney concept artist Mary Blair. The goal was to highlight the event using an effective hierarchy to make it easy for the viewer to know what to expect from the function. I drew inspiration from one of her pieces to create the layout and color scheme for the poster so that it felt like Mary had created it herself. Mary Blair has always been one of my favorite concept artists, and I wanted to make sure the design effectively paid homage to her and her work.
